RESULTS SEPT. 25: CONGREGATIONS VOTING TO LEAVE THE ELCA

1. Principe de Paz Lutheran Church, Miami, FL ** was released from the ELCA by the Florida-Bahamas Synod at its September meeting.

2. Bethany Lutheran Church, Thompson, IA failed to pass first vote to leave the ELCA 70 to leave, 61 to stay.

3. Bethel Lutheran Church, Bemidji, MN failed to pass first vote to leave the ELCA. Vote count not known at this time.

4. Emmons Lutheran Church, Emmons, MN passed first vote to leave the ELCA 119-20.

5. Winnebago Lutheran Church, Lake Mills, IA failed to pass first vote to leave the ELCA, with 69 voting to remain in the ELCA and 25 voting to leave the ELCA.

6. West St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Hayfield, MN failed to pass first vote to leave the ELCA, 64 voted to stay-51 voted to leave.

RESULTS SEPTEMBER 18: CONGREGATIONS VOTING TO LEAVE THE ELCA

1. First United Lutheran Church, Hammond, IN passed second vote to leave the ELCA, 82-28. Also voted to join the NALC.

2. St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Creston, NE passed first vote to leave the ELCA in late July.

3. Hope Lutheran Church of Hubbard Lake, MI passed second vote to leave the ELCA (Sept. 11), 173-6. Voted to join NALC.

4. Messiah Lutheran Church, Lebanon, PA ** passed second vote to leave the ELCA. (date uncertain)

5. Bethel Lutheran Church, Battle Lake, MN passed first vote to leave the ELCA on August 7,(27-6).

RESULTS: CONGREGATIONS VOTING TO LEAVE THE ELCA, SEPTEMBER 11, 2011

1. Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys, OH passed second vote to leave the ELCA, 112-40. Joining NALC.

2. Glen Flora Lutheran Church, Glen Flora, WI passed second vote to leave the ELCA, 38-1. Voted by same measure to join NALC.

3. Faith Lutheran Church, Sturgeon Lake, MN passed second vote to leave the ELCA and join the NALC, 23-2.

4. Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kettle River, MN passed second vote to leave the ELCA, 35-8.
