After the second vote at Faith Lutheran Church in Seward Nebraska failed by one vote there was a ground swell of the members from that church to form a new Lutheran congregation in Seward with the LCMC. With in the last month everything to form that new congregation has become a reality with Pastor Miller who was the pastor at Faith for eleven years moving along with those members of the congregation to form LIVING WORD LUTHERAN CHURCH OF SEWARD NEBRASKA. Our church home has become what was the Presbyterian church which stopped services this past year because of too low a membership. We have leased the church lock stock and barrel with all of thenecessary furnishings intact, and our dedication Service will be on the 22nd of Aug. with well over a hundred members signing on.
