CHURCH PLANS VOTE TO LEAVE THE ELCA

According to the Northeastern Iowa Synod, West Prairie Lutheran Church, Leland, IA is scheduled March 4, 2012 to take a first vote on leaving the ELCA.

Sion Lutheran Church, Lake Mills, IA,  is also scheduled to take their first vote on a date to be announced.

    I grew up in the Lake Mills and Leland Area, and
    I am glad to see the are still good solid christian people there that follow the inspired
    word of God. I am also praying for the other Lutheran churches in area that they will see where the ELCA is headed and leave.
