Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
In a troubled and stressed-out world, there is comfort in knowing God is guarding our hearts and minds. This He does in response to our faith and trust in Jesus Christ, His Son. When God makes a promise, He keeps it. Cast your cares on Him today with the utmost confidence that He always has your best interests in mind.
Lord, in this troubled world there are many obstacles in my path, many distractions from your love and care. Guard me from them all and help me to always keep my focus on you. Through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior, Amen
