ELCA CHURCH IN AUBURN, INDIANA TRIUMPHS WITH SECOND ATTEMPT TO LEAVE ELCA

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Auburn, Indiana, voted July 4, (their second attempt) to leave the ELCA. The pastor reports that upon the loss of their first vote, attendance dropped sharply and their income was reduced by 50 percent. Abiding Word Ministries has warned ELCA churches for years that Bible-believing members will not accept teachings and practices that violate God's Word. This is being evidenced in scores of ELCA congregations across the nation where they have chosen to remain in the apostasy and shame of the ELCA.

  1. If St. Mark's people and pastor are looking for support during this difficult time, Pastor Lloyd Bickel and the people of Trinity Lutheran Church (LCMS) in Auburn could be recommended as a source of Christian strength and comfort.
