  1. I believe First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Idaho Falls is taking their second vote on September 12, 2010. I am quite sure it is the only ELCA congregation in Idaho Falls.

    1. At the time of the vote in September of 2010, FELC was indeed the only ELCA congregation in Idaho Falls. However, since then a SAWC (synodically authorized worshipping community) has met to worship in the First Christian Church every Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm. All are welcome to worship as the congregation is also a recognized Reconciling in Christ church.

  2. First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Idaho Falls did take their second vote today, Sept. 12, 2010. By 73%, we voted to end our relationship with the ELCA. Another vote to join LCMC passed by 97%.
