  1. Trinity Lutheran in Lake Norden, SD is voting on leaving the ELCA and joining NALC on Oct. 10. I had heard this secondhand but it's confirmed in the October newsletter on their website, trinityln.org.

  2. My heart goes out to all of these congregations that are voting. It is sad that the ELCA leadership is so arrogant and luke warm to the Word of God. My wife and I left the ELCA 20 years ago by the leading of the Holy Spirit. We have no regrets. Our prayers are with these all of these congregations.

  3. We had the vote in Boyertown PA. A motion to leave the ELCA was defeated Sunday 10/17/10, with 207 members of the congregation voting against it and 139 voting in favor. Since I am one of the 139, I'll be looking for a church that actually obeys the Word of God. Below is a link to an article about the vote.

  4. I belong to Mt Olivet Lutheran Church in Mpls. Don't know where we are headed, love Mt. Olivet but can no longer stomach church teachings. Will probably have to find a congregation that teaches the Word without Political Correctness!

  5. 2 churches in upstate NY have left the ELCA. St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Middleburgh, NY and Evangelical Lutheran Church, Gallupville, NY, are now officially NALC churches. These were linked churches with one pastor, however the pastor has resigned at St. Mark's and now serves only Evangelical.
