Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. (Jude 24-25).
This is one of the "God is able" verses of Scripture. Each one of these verses accents some aspect of God's ability to cleanse, save, keep, and satisfy our most basic needs. But this "God is able" verse in Jude caps them all and brings us at length to the throne of God where we along with the saints and angels will joyfully worship, praise and adore the King of kings and Lord of lords. Let us rest today in this blessed promise and rejoice that God is able to get us safely from here to there--there meaning to our home in heaven and into the glorious presence of our Father!
Lord, let me walk today in the light of this promise, knowing that whatever happens you are able to bring me through it with joy and victory! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
